Carnipure L-Carnitine L-Tartrate is said to improve muscle recovery and increase testosterone levels. It also increases blood flow and amount of oxygen necessary for muscle consumption. L-carnitine L-tartrate also increases the number of androgen receptors in the cells. Testosterone binds to these receptors inside muscle fibers and promotes muscle growth. Carnitine needs insulin to enter muscle cells. The ingredients that increase insulin levels are leucine and dextrose. They are also present in Post JYM. Unfortunately, L-carnitine is associated with a number of side effects and adverse reactions and it is prohibited to people with cardiovascular diseases.
Glutamine can be found in big amount in the human body as it takes part in the muscle recovery and growth. It is also critical for the immune system. This amino acid can be added in the form of a supplement only if a person is involved in systematic intense training. Even though Glutamine maintains the health of the immune system it can be harmful when used in large doses. Betaine is also called trimethylglycine (TMG). It is a modified version of glycine, another amino acid necessary for the power and strength of the muscles during workouts. Betaine is said to increase protein synthesis after workouts.
Taurine is another amino acid for muscle endurance and strength. There is a supposition that it can also support the release of nitric oxide (NO) in the body. Exercise decreases taurine levels, so it is important to take taurine after every workout too.
